Didn't really think dismounts or syncs were the issue but thought I'd mention them.
A path issue is what I was thinking COULD get resolved on the first read of the USB on the M. But if the Utility stuff can find the folders and files you'd thing Live Set could if the path and name is the same.I'm guessing there's some form of path issue involved since I did the initial volume copy from Windows.
Path issues, spaces in the path or name issues, special characters in the path or name issues, case issues - amazing that we are still dealing with these issues in this day and age.
Hope we aren't relegated back to the stone age of 8 character names and 3 character extensions.
