I’ve been following the (very good) Blake Angelos tutorial on Connecting Montage and Logic Pro X https://yamahasynth.com/learn/montage-s ... onnecting/ but have run into a snag at the end. When I create a software instrument in Logic and set the instrument to Montage Connect, the MONTAGE Connect popup window always shows Offline, even thought the Montage M is on and otherwise transmits MIDI data to Logic on channel 1 (I’ve set up software instrument tracks as tests and can see that the keyboard is controlling them as expected on channel 1).
I’m running firmware 2.01.0 and Montage CONNECT 1.2.1. I have verified that the Montage M shows up as active in Audio MIDI Setup. I feel like I must have missed something obvious because I don’t see other postings with my issue. Thanks for any ideas—think I’ll go practice chord inversions…![:(]( "Sad")
