...and actually it would have been useful posted in the Genos/Genos 2 section🤔 I am pretty sure that people who bought a Montage M are probably not looking for a Genos 2 alternative.
For what it's worth, I just spent over an hour sifting through the posts in this particular (currently 123 page) thread to find out precisely where davlippo7 first broached the subject of the PA5X. I found his posts on the PA5x via a Google search. The motivation for me is that I am currently debating whether to purchase the Korg PA5X to replace my Motif XF8, and I was both very interested and very curious as to what he had to say given that this is a Yamaha forum. And ironically, contrary to Saul's comment above, the other keyboard I'm considering is the Montage M8X! Yes, I realize that I'm probably part of a very small minority of keyboard enthusiasts that would consider these two keyboards as the most viable choices as a Motif XF8 replacement, but I've always been interested in a high end arranger and unfortunately I only have the space for one keyboard in my home studio.

So on the one hand I find Dave's deviating from the main topic of this thread to discussing the PA5x to be very helpful to my personal interests. However, I would wholeheartedly endorse moving this particular discussion off to another thread - namely to the Genos forum - where I think others with similar interests to my own (assuming there ARE any!) would have found it more convenient to peruse. Don't get me wrong - I am not being critical of Dave's introducing the PA5X here as I really enjoy his comments and those who responded to him. I'm just saying that I think there's merit in moving this to another dedicated thread, assuming that's even possible.
